A sanitary grinder or evacuation pump, is a device that allows to grind and evacuate wastewater in a different way than the traditional one, which would be through 100 mm diameter pipes. With this machine, solid elements can be converted into liquids thanks to the grinding process, which subsequently leads the waste to the downspout.

Grinders contain blades that shred the waste into fine particles, after which a turbine pumps the resulting liquid, driving the waste into the evacuation pipe.

Thanks to this system, the mass that has been ground up is moved to the general downspout or wherever a septic tank is located. By having a grinder, the evacuation pipe can be narrower and is of great use when there is not enough space to place a downpipe between 100 and 110 mm in diameter. 

It is important to keep in mind that a grinder can have as many inputs as elements need to be connected, so before choosing grinders it is necessary to plan how many mechanisms will be connected due to the fact that an input is required for each element.

SFA SANISHOWER

It is designed to collect water from a shower, sink and bidet. Small in size, it can be easily hidden in a piece of furniture or even under the shower tray when it is high enough.

The pump only needs an electrical outlet and a water outlet. The motor is started by a pressure detection system: water enters the tank and presses the sensor, which then starts the motor.

The connections of the devices to be evacuated are made in diameter 40 mm for the shower inlet and in diameter 32 mm for the washbasin. The SANISHOWER drainage pump is delivered with a drainage elbow pre-equipped with a 32 mm diameter non-return valve.
