During the journey from the water supplier to your home, it can happen that due to maintenance on the water line, new connections or the possibility of contaminating particles of sand and rust. The water that arrives at your home is contaminated. Manual self-cleaning (backflush) filters, unlike change filters, do not require parts changes for filter cleaning. In change filters we have to change the filter element, while in back-flow filters, to do the cleaning we will only have to open the purge valve. When opening it, part of the water already filtered, returns with what manages to dissolve the particles that the filter has collected. This process is recommended every 2 months at the most.
