Why do you need a self-cleaning filter?
During the journey from the water supplier to your home, it can happen, due to maintenance on the water line, new connections being made or the possibility of contaminating particles of sand and rust. The water that arrives at your home is contaminated. That is why BWT has a line of filters specifically designed to remove these types of impurities from the water so you can have peace of mind knowing that you will not have contaminated water at home.

Manual self-cleaning (back-flow) filters, unlike change filters, do not require parts changes for filter cleaning. In change filters we have to change the filter element, while in back-flow filters, to do the cleaning we will only have to open the purge valve. When opening it, part of the water already filtered, returns with what manages to dissolve the particles that the filter has collected. This process is recommended every 2 months at the most.
