The Alpha OA series has two models, both very complete. They stand out from other brands thanks to their Nav System technology. When the smart cleaning cycle is set, the robot scans and cleans the perimeter of the pool in order to calculate the dimensions and optimise the cleaning cycle for the user's pool.
In addition, Zodiac guarantees that by means of the pressure sensors included in the robot. It detects when there is a lack of adherence, raising the walls to generate more suction force and adhere to these to always clean the waterline.
The Zodiac Alpha OA 6600 iQ includes Swivel® anti-knot technology, so the robot's cable does not get tangled during the cleaning cycle, preventing it from moving forward during the cleaning process. It also includes a transport trolley and Lift System technology, where the robot rises to the waterline for easy collection and quickly releases the water to remove weight at the end of the cleaning cycle. It offers complete pool cleaning, a feature that, combined with the technologies it incorporates, makes it one of the most complete models on the market. It includes a high-capacity filter with a volume of 5 litres.
The robot has excellent features, such as the wide suction mouth and dual filtration with two superimposed filters of 60 and 150 microns so that all the dirt is retained in the filters. WHAT POOL IS THE ALPHA OA 6600 IQ FOR?
The Zodiac Alpha OA 6600 iQ electric pool cleaner is a state-of-the-art robot with Zodiac brand application, with excellent specifications and the latest Zodiac technologies. This pool cleaner is lightweight and adapts to all types of pools, including above ground and saline chlorination pools, with a maximum length of 15 metres. This electric pool cleaner is recommended for in-ground pools. The difference between pools is that above-ground pools with rigid walls are placed on the ground without the need for building work, so they are higher and the walls are visible. On the other hand, the in-ground pool is flush with the ground, so for its installation, the hole in which we want the pool to be must be excavated beforehand.
The Zodiac Alpha OA 6600 iQ cleans the entire pool (bottom, walls and waterline) in 2 cycles to be selected by the user. 1 cycle of 1.5h for the bottom and 1 cycle of 2.5h for cleaning the entire pool. It performs a complete cleaning thanks to its high-capacity filter and can be controlled from the iAqualink® app.
The Zodiac Alpha OA 6600 iQ is an electric pool cleaner. It is a programmable system that requires mains power to operate. What are its main features? They have their own filtration system, which means that it is not necessary to program the system any more than usual for the cleaner to do its job. In addition, they are autonomous and independent.
Electric pool cleaners are devices that work silently. They are easy to store and transport. Their work cycles are very short and their energy consumption is lower than what is normally needed to operate the pool's filtration equipment, etc... There are only advantages!
To start using this model of electric pool cleaner, a series of steps must be followed. First of all, it is recommended to extend the length of the cable next to the pool, thus avoiding the risk of entanglement during immersion. The Zodiac Alpha OA 6600 iQ pool cleaner has an 18 metre long cable with Swivel® anti-tangle technology.
To start it up correctly, it is recommended that the robot is immersed in the centre of the length of the pool or, alternately, each time it is placed in the pool, the corner in which it is placed should be rotated. Once this has been done, the electric pool cleaner must be immersed vertically in the water and moved in all directions in order to eliminate any air that the robot may have inside.
The Zodiac Alpha OA 6600 iQ robot pool cleaner is as light as a feather, which makes it very easy to transport. It also has a transport trolley included to carry the robot and the fountain. As for its filtration, it has a high capacity double filter of 150/60 microns, both filters can be easily replaced.
