Zodiac - OV 5200 4WD robot pool cleaner

The Zodiac VORTEX OV 5200 electric pool cleaner is a latest generation robot with Zodiac brand application, with a low price and excellent performance. This pool cleaner is small and lightweight and adapts to all types of pools, including above ground and salt chlorination pools, with a maximum length of 12 metres. This electric pool cleaner is recommended for in-ground pools. The difference between pools is that above-ground pools with rigid walls are placed on the ground without the need for building work, so they are higher and the walls are visible. On the other hand, the in-ground pool is flush with the ground, so for its installation the hole in which we want the pool to be must be excavated beforehand.

The Zodiac VORTEX OV 5200 cleans the entire pool (bottom, walls and waterline) in 2 cycles to be selected by the user. 1 cycle of 1.5h for the bottom and 1 cycle of 2.5h for cleaning the entire pool. It performs a complete cleaning thanks to its filter and can be controlled from the iAqualink® app.

To start using this model of electric pool cleaner, a series of steps must be followed. First of all, it is recommended to extend the length of the cable next to the pool, thus avoiding the risk of entanglement during immersion. The Zodiac VORTEX OV 5200 pool cleaner has a cable length of 18 metres.

To start it up correctly, it is recommended that the robot is immersed in the centre of the length of the pool or, alternatively, each time it is placed in the pool, the corner in which it is placed should be rotated. Once this has been done, the electric pool cleaner must be immersed vertically in the water and moved in all directions in order to eliminate any air that the robot may have inside.

The Zodiac VORTEX OV 5200 robot pool cleaner is as light as a feather, which makes it very easy to transport. In terms of filtration, it has a 100 micron filter with a large capacity of 5L.

*The correct functioning and performance of all the functions of the robot both on the bottom and on the walls is not guaranteed as long as the pH level is not correct, it contains slime or algae or the filters are saturated by excess dust and dirt, and a total cleaning of the filtration basket has not been carried out beforehand, as well as any pool with irregular surfaces on the walls such as ribs, including pool steps.
