To start using this model of electric pool cleaner, a series of steps must be followed. First of all, it is recommended to fully charge the robot's battery, thus preventing it from running out of power during immersion. The Wybot WY1102 pool cleaner has a battery with a charge of 3/4 hours and a cycle time of 50 minutes.
To start it up correctly, it is recommended that the robot is immersed in the centre of the length of the pool. Once this has been done, the electric pool cleaner must be immersed vertically in the water and moved in all directions, in order to eliminate any air that the robot may have inside.
The robot pool cleaner is ultra light, which makes it very easy to transport and store. In terms of filtration, it has a high volume compartment. Here all the dirt is collected and easily removed by the user by rinsing it out with the hose.
If the cleaner is left in the pool once it has completed its cleaning cycle, you should be aware that chemicals commonly used in pools, such as flocculant, can damage the cleaner or its filters. This is considered negligence on the part of the user and the warranty does not cover any damage caused by chemical materials in the robot.
Once the cleaning cycle is complete, it is best to remove the robot from the pool, remove the filtration compartment, clean it with the hose and clean the robot. When storing the robot for a long period of time, it is advisable not to leave the battery fully charged as it may be subject to degradation.
