Pool lighting is a section within all the paraphernalia, which in principle we do not give the relevance it has. But the spotlights also allow you to use the pool at night to have a better visibility of the bottom.

Today thanks to the technological advances the spotlights are Led for a minimum consumption and a very high luminous capacity. Also, you have the option to customize the light of your pool thanks to the range of white and RGB models

Features Lumiplus Design projector

  • The LumiPlus Design projector is a high power underwater projector that can be installed in 180mm diameter niches.
  • Projector for installation in niche design (not included)
  • The trim is available in Inox effect and Pure White finish.
  • The light can be white and multicolor RGB. RGB versions are compatible with ECO, TOP, Wireless, LumiPlus LED App, ModBUS (Connect) controls and DMX versions require the LumiplusDMX 41107 Modulator
  • To properly illuminate a pool, it is recommended to install one spotlight from the LumiPlus Design family every 25 m² of water surface. Recommendation: installation suggestion valid for pools with light colors and for spotlights with white light, oversize in RGB colors. In pools with dark colors or stainless steel it is recommended to oversize the proportion of projectors per m².

Lighting tips

Roughly recommended. The use of a spotlight for every 20m2 of the pool, these are measured with the width and length of our pool. With this we will get a total coverage of the pool area to have a correct lighting.

The spotlight has to be placed at a distance of approximately 65/70 cm from the edge of the pool to the bottom. With this we will be able to illuminate homogeneously any pool of relatively standard dimensions.

We can distinguish the types of spotlights by the following characteristics:

  • Lamp type: Halogen or LED
  • Type of installation: Recessed in niche or on wall
  • Pool type: For concrete or prefabricated pools

In case of doubts about the placement of the lighting, we recommend contacting an authorized installer to know the most suitable light distribution for your pool.
