Features
Electrochlorinators (equipment for pool water disinfection based on salt electrolysis) have non-soluble electrodes through which the pool water circulates and where chlorine is generated by applying an external source of low voltage direct current.
On the surface of these electrodes, including those of the electrochlorinators that have a polarity change, calcareous incrustations, organic residues and mineral sediments will form and adhere over time, leading to a reduction in performance and malfunctioning of the equipment. For this reason it will be necessary to clean the electrodes.
For this purpose this product has been developed, which is a ready-to-use acid cleaner specially designed to remove scale without attacking (degrading) the electrodes
Mode of use and dosage
Insert the electrodes in a container with the Descaler so that it completely covers the plates, but without going beyond the cell cover, to prevent the product from acting directly on the screws and nuts that are on the outermost part. Let the product act
Once the cleaning operation is finished, rinse the electrodes with plenty of water and reassemble them in the cell.
Caution: before starting the cleaning of the electrodes check the instructions of the manufacturer of your salt electrolysis equipment regarding the incompatibility of chemicals for cell cleaning.
