Why use pH controllers?

The ideal pH level for a swimming pool is in the range of 7.2 to 7.6, ensuring optimal conditions for bathers' skin and eyes. Maintaining the pH within this range is essential to preserve the proper condition of the entire pool installation. You will find a variety of products available to maintain the pH level in your pool, such as pH increasers and pH reducers in solid and liquid form. These products are suitable for both chlorinated and salt electrolysis pools. Maintaining a proper pH level in your pool is essential to enjoy a safe and healthy environment.

Features

Powder compound, to increase the total alkalinity of the pool water, when it is lower than 125 ppm. It is essential for optimal water treatment, preventing pH imbalance.

Mode of use and ddosage

Initial Treatment: Add 15 grs. of granulated Dichloro (0200GR) for each m3 of water. After 2 hours, adjust the pH of the water to between 7.2 and 7.6 using Solid pH Reducer (0010) or Solid pH Increaser (0020).

Maintenance treatment:

Add 1.8 Kgs. of product, to increase in 10 ppm the total alkalinity of 100 m.3

The total alkalinity of the water should be between 125-150 ppm (CO3Ca), and its control will be carried out by means of a test kit once a week.

Pour the necessary dose of product dissolved in water, and spread the solution over the surface of the pool equally.

It is the amount of carbonates, bicarbonates and hydroxides in the water, being impossible to have water in perfect conditions of transparency and disinfection if its total alkalinity is not correctly adjusted.

The alkalinity deficiency produces:

• Corrosion of and staining on metal parts and pool accessories. 
• Hinders pH adjustment and control.

Excess alkalinity results in:

• Increased pH
• Turbid water.
• Irritation of the eyes, ears, nose and throat of bathers.
• Fouling of pool walls and fixtures.
