What is a pool pump?
They are a key and indispensable element for the pool, as they are part of the filtration system. Their main function is to suck the dirty water from the pool and send it to the integrated filter to ensure a complete cleaning. It allows to clean the impurities from the water before returning it back to the pool thanks to its circular operation.
Another function of the pool pump is to clean the filter regularly to avoid any risk of clogging. A clogged filter does not effectively perform its water filtration function.
Wiper pump hydromassage and spa
Single-cell centrifugal pump conceived for the purpose of recirculating and filtering water in whirlpools and spas. With a body, diffuser and impeller designed in technopolymer in order to make the pump resistant and durable against possible corrosion caused by inclement weather and chemicals used for spa maintenance.
Thanks to the construction of the motor with an AISI-420 stainless steel the Espa pump allows working with water with a higher temperature than other pumps on the market with the ability to work with water up to 50ºC temperature. It has a suction and discharge inlet of 1 1/2". Both suction and discharge are fixed by means of mechanical seals. It has an IPX5 water and dust tightness certificate.
Pump features
The ESPA Pump Wiper Whirlpool & Spa stands out for the following features:
- Its body is both pump and impeller in technopolymer.
- Motor shaft in AISI 420 stainless steel.
- It has a mechanical seal in graphite and steatite.
- Aluminum motor housing.
- NBR seals.
- IP 55 protection, externally ventilated.
- Single-phase 1 x 230 V, with built-in thermoamperimetric protector and corresponding capacitor.
- Electrophoresis painting, ensuring the motor a high resistance to corrosion.
- Suction and delivery threaded 2¼" and served with 50 mm threaded fittings (Wiper 0) and 2¾" served with 63 mm fittings for gluing (Wiper 3).
