Features of the Cantabric series

The wide range of Cantabric filters is considered one of the most durable filter series on the market optimizing performance and cost-effectiveness. Manufactured in injected thermoplastic material and later welded its two halves, they are assembled with collectors and diffuser in unalterable plastic material achieving a total anti-corrosion protection and without maintenance. One of its main features is its innovative design which gives it its own personality within the range of AstralPool filters. In order to provide adequate filtration for large private pools, Cantabric filters are available from 400 to 900 mm in diameter, to withstand large flows of water without altering its filtration speed, and achieving total transparency of the water.

• Available with side or top (top) outlet depending on your convenience and available space for placement.
• Filter body made of unalterable plastic resistant to chemical and atmospheric agents. Made to work outdoors.
• Equipped as standard with AstralPool's 6+1-way selector valve, 1 1/2" for 400 mm, 500 mm and 600 mm diameters, 2'' for 750 mm diameter and 2 1/2" for 900 mm diameter, with bayonet lock, for filtration, washing, rinsing, recirculation, emptying, closing and winterizing operations (all inlets and outlets are connected).
• Transparent cover for easy visual inspection and access to the inside of the filter in case of side valve.
• Collector and diffuser for continuous performance.
• Manual air purge to exhaust air from inside the filter if necessary.
• Incorporates a 3/4" manual water purge on the filter's sand purge plug for easy drainage without sand loss.
• 1 1/2" sand drain for 400 mm, 500 mm and 600 mm diameters and 2'' for 750 mm and 900 mm diameters.
• In its lower part, it incorporates collector by means of arms to ensure a balanced flow and filter washing.
• Manometer for filter washing control.
• Base integrated in the lower half of the filter, with holes for proper attachment to the floor.
• Larger mouth of 225 mm for easier handling and sand loading in diameters of 900 mm. For the rest of the range the upper mouth is 177 mm

Easy drainage: No sand loss via a manual water drain built into the sand drain plug.

Functionality: The advanced technology developed for Cantabric filters provides extraordinary operational reliability with minimal maintenance, reflecting in a safety that allows optimizing pool filtration for many years. It should also be noted that it incorporates AstralPool's signature 6+1-way selector valve for filtration, washing, rinsing, recirculation, emptying and closing.

Innovative design: Beyond its functionality, AstralPool has been concerned with creating a new image for its Cantabric filters, obtaining as a result a product with an attractive and novel design both for its ivory color and its shapes, without forgetting its adaptability to the needs of location.

Broad range: Cantabric filters provide the ideal solution for a wide range of pool sizes, since they adapt to the filtration needs for capacities ranging from 30 to 240 m3 with flow rates from 6.000 l/h up to 30,000 l/h, with a filtration rate of 50 m3/h/m2.
