Features of the Aster series

    The wide range of Aster laminated sand filters stands out for its reliability as one of the most sold filters in the world, and because its collector arms with a larger diameter (1") provide a larger filtration surface. Since, beyond its performance, the appearance of the filter is increasingly valued, its ivory-colored laminated finish gives it a discreet appearance and a safety that makes it suitable for any type of installation. You can have an Aster filter with a diameter ranging from 350 mm to 900 mm, suitable for pools from 30 m3 to 240 m3 of volume. The Top version will be applied on filters up to Ø 650 with 1 1/2" connections.

    Features:

    • Laminated sand filters, in polyester resin and fiberglass, ivory color.
    • Mounted with 1" diameter manifolds and diffuser in unalterable plastic material PVC and PP.
    • Equipped with pressure gauge, manual air vent and manual water drain.
    • Six-way side selector valve for filtering, washing, rinsing, recirculation, emptying and shut-off operations. 
    • Polypropylene foot, except with diameter 900 mm which is made of polyester resin and fiberglass.
    • Lid without screws for quick opening and closing.
    • Maximum filtration rate: 50m3 /h/m2 .
    • Maximum working pressure: 2.5 kg/cm2 .

    Functionality: Equipped with AstralPool's 6+1 position selector valve that allows filtering, washing, rinsing, recirculating, emptying and closing the filter. A valve so reliable that it is used with most AstralPool filters.

    Easy handling:Through the patented lid opening and closing system, traditional screws are eliminated. Thanks to this, uniform pressure is exerted on the entire section of the sealing gasket and the lid opening operation is facilitated. 

    Capacity: By incorporating 1" diameter manifolds, the filtration surface is increased and its efficiency is improved.
