The DIDO self -limp filter is placed at the entrance of drinking water in the house. The objective is to eliminate foreign bodies in water such as gravel, metal scales, mucilage, oxide, etc.

The elimination of suspended particles less than 2mm is fundamental in the treatment of domestic water. In fact, water systems may be subject to problems when there are impurities present, such as the obstruction of pressure regulators and the damages that in the long term can be extremely critical and expensive.

These devices can be defined as "protection filters" and, therefore, are designed for this purpose, so they are not suitable for filtering water containing large amounts of lime, sand or other materials. In these cases, a thicker particle filtration system must be previously placed to the filter.
