The phymeter housing is more robust and its design is ergonomic. In addition, its new design presents a larger and more visible screen that allows easy reading from any angle. 

Due to the use and passage of time the unions are obstructed or contaminated, and if there is no possibility of replacement, there would be no other option that undertakes at all of the phameter. However, thanks to the removable electrode fiber junction, the Hanna Hi 98107 pH meter has a longer useful life than other pH meters. This union measures 2cm long and when contaminated or stops making effective measurements, we can replace it with a new one and thus extend the life of the electrode, and therefore, that of the tester. In addition, all pHMETERS AND INSTRUMENTS OF THE PEP series carry a lid that protects the electrode.

The pH meter calibration is performed manually in 1 or 2 points with a potentiometer (included in the price) located on the side of the tester, which ensures a measurement accuracy in ± 0.2 pH.  The measurement is visualized directly on its wide screen, which is visible from any angle.

The pHETER works with a button battery whose consumption is minimal, ensuring an approximate autonomy of about 800h and thus avoid having to replace it in a long time.
